Wii and PS2 versions Unlike the PC and DS versions, Petz Dogs 2 and Petz Cats 2 are actually adventure games, so instead of taking care of a virtual pet, the player plays as a dog or cat who lives in a village on a large island, and who goes on an adventure to stop an evil wolf from destroying the universe. I'll feel cheated if it is! For the most part, this is a worthwhile purchase and I'd recommend it to all horse lovers.

My only complaints are you really have to stay attentive to your foal or it will easily fall ill, which is a pain, and I haven't figured out yet if wireless play is really necessary to unlock some features. She handles all of the chores and even manages the different competition tracks, better than me sometimes! There is a learning curve with this game, but it is also a lot of fun once you hit the straight-away! Even my 4-yr-old sits and plays this game.
